How do we design for us in 50 years? Technology is increasingly in sync with our human needs. At the same time, it is pushing the evolution of human beings to a new speed by redefining social relationships, food systems, mobility and culture. However, loneliness, mental health, and basic item shortages are some of the early effects this cultural shift has created. Hacking 2070 reimagines current technologies and adapts them for the elderly people of the future...us. By creating informed speculative concept scenarios, we unpack the complexities of the relationship between technology and basic human needs to understand what the role of a designer will be in the future.
